We may not remember our kindergarten teachers, but we all remember the characters of Sesame Street teaching us our ABCs and counting 123. Who was your favorite Sesame Street Muppet growing up? Personally, I loved the cookie monster because I thought he was the funniest. I really liked how Big Bird showed us that it is ok to make mistakes and encourages children to keep trying no matter what. And we all know everyone loves Elmo… and it’s hard not to when he is sooo cute. I still have the original Tickle Me Elmo I waited in line for. It’s always a sunny day with Sesame Street.

Did you know Sesame Street first ran on PBS in 1969 and is still going strong today? That’s a lot of children this educational program is influencing. Today, I’m curious who the next celebrity guest may be. Watching our First Ladies visit Sesame Street is always a delight and Michelle Obama did a fabulous job on the program.

If you are anything like me, you still have a lot of Sesame Street toys and dolls, but do you have custom Sesame Street checks? Customized checks are the cutest thing to get so order your photo Sesame Street checks of your favorite character today!
